A Special Tribute to the Bard

To mark the end of the Shakespeare 400 anniversary a
‘Shakes Wake’
will take place
in
Teachers’ Club (room TBC)
on
Saturday, 22nd April, 7.30 p.m
The evening will follow a similar format to last year’s Yeats evening and will again be co-ordinated by Mary Dowling and Mary Howard.
Members will present a favourite piece from Shakespeare’s canon – plays, sonnets or songs – along with a few words to tell us why it was chosen.
While the emphasis of the evening is on the Bard’s own words, some people may wish to contribute a piece about him that is particularly relevant to the evening.
