Shakespeare 400 – Why we’re celebrating

€10The society will be performing a talk entitled ‘Shakespeare 400: Why we’re celebrating’ to be delivered by Paul Maher, in the beautiful setting of Sandford Parish Church as part of the Ranelagh Arts Festival.
The evening will include performances of scenes from the plays, songs and sonnets.
Performers are Tim Casey, Eoin O’Seaghdha, Emma Hurley, Louis O’Byrne, Martin O’Connor, Hilary Boyle, Sonia Lavelle, Philip Gleeson, Julianna Gonzalez, Brigid Sweeney, Roisin Mee, Noelle Timmons, Niamh Delaney, Imelda McDonagh and newcomer to the society Daniel Doyle.
Production Manager is Eileen Sheridan and Musical Director, Marion McEvoy.

Please also take into consideration when you are planning your travel that Dublin Bus are planning another stoppage on that day, so you will need to avail of alternative modes of transport. You can reach Ranelagh by Luas (via the Green line from St Stephen’s Green), alight at Ranelagh Stop and: located close to the Triangle in Ranelagh. Sandford Parish Church is located at the opposite end of the village (i.e. turn right when exiting the Luas station and walk through the village towards Clonskeagh). It is approximately 10 mins at a fast walking pace. The church is on the right-hand side, almost directly opposite Malborough Road, and just past Sandford Parish School.
